choosing stocks, DBZ, tragic family karma. Currently Ronnie is making music. |
Diane
Naegel (Tacoma
Ballet) (Virgo) Diane
is founder of Ruby Slipper.
Having studied piano as a child, never having played with a band, Diane took up
the challenge and played beautifully on the Tacoma sessions, keeping up with the
likes of Patty Schemel and Greta Brinkman. 3 unknown talents: a mere intern she
designed purses celebrities strutted on television, chocolate cake, thrift fashion
expert. Currently: back home at school in Cinci Ohio for three months, Diane is
designing the CD booklet for the first Tacoma sessions release. |
Lafrae
Olivia Sci (recording in January) (Cancer) Drums.
Olivia is one of NYC's finest and most in demand jazz drummers, but her skills
are as impressive when she plays rock, punk, blues, hip hop and anything else.

Nick
Romero (The Stillness of Over)
Drums. Former member of popular L.A. punk band The Limeys, Nick dropped in to
cover gigs after Debbie left the band. His only recording with Lucid Nation is
Ronnie's epic cover of Sonic Youth's "Youth Against Fascism" at the Anti Censorship
show protesting the Republican National Convention in San Diego. Currently: unknown.

Erin
McCarley (American Stonehenge) (Taurus) Drums,
voice, words, guitar, bass. Erin's first band opened for Lucid Nation at Debbie's
next to last show. She jumped in when Nick bailed. Erin helped organize many girl
friendly shows at Koo's Anarchist Cafe in Santa Ana. She left Lucid Nation during
a grueling national tour. Erin lives in Olympia Washington, she has toured and/or
recorded with The Makeshift Conspiracy, Shotgun Won, Delta Dart. |
Tia
Sprocket (DNA, Suburban Legends) (Aries) Tia
joined Lucid Nation for the last three gigs of the 1998 national tour then came
to Los Angeles to record. Tia has played with Sexpod, Raging Slab, and Luscious
Jackson. Currently: working on her own songs. |
Grit Maldonado

Margaret is bass player for all female hardcore underground legends Girl Jesus.

Sellers (Nonpoetic Rain: Live on KXLU) (Pisces)
Bass. John was bass player for The Countdowns, one of Jon Spencer's favorite bands,
they opened for JSBX all over America and Europe. John suggested the tasty Pere
Ubu cover "Heart of Darkness" and was prime mover of the KXLU lineup. Currently:

Guitar. Troy was guitarist of the notorious punk band The L.A. Times, and of avant

Guitar. Larry is an ex-Flesheater and seminal figure in Northwestern punk and
